Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Surgical Services Manager to fill a permanent role in North London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of theatre management practices.

The pay rate for this Surgical Services Manager job is £65,000 - £75,000 per annum plus additional benefits, and is a permanent contract due to start ASAP.

As a Surgical Services Manager you will report into the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and you will have overall responsibility for the strategic, financial, operational and clinical service delivery within the surgical services across the facility.

You will be required to provide strategic and operational management through the effective line management of 3 direct reports and overall accountability for 60 staff across Theatres & Sterile Services department. You must support managers in the delivery of consistently high quality, safe and effective, patient focused care which creates a positive experience for all stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing the departments within an agreed annual budget including working hours and units of service, maximising revenue capture and cost control.

Requirements of the Surgical Services Manager role:

- You must be Registered Practitioner/Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have extensive experience within the Operating Theatre environment
- You must have previous managerial experience with excellent leadership skills
