Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Scrub Nurse to fill a full time (40hrs per week over 4 long days inc weekends), permanent role in West London. The pay rate for this Scrub Nurse job is £37,000 pa and is a permanent contract.

This private client is based in a busy area of West London, with great transport links. You will be based at one of the largest providers of plastic surgery in London, they offer a wide range of different procedures.

This role will require you to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered in an effective, efficient manner reflecting the overall philosophy of the service. Main duties will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care in line with company values and work practices. You will also be expected to act as a role model delivering care on a nurse led basis, to patients in varying stages of their surgical pathway.

As a Scrub Nurse within the Theatre, you will provide care and support during the 'perioperative' journey, which includes the following phases: preoperative, anaesthetics, surgical phase and the recovery phase. You will be willing to Train for and take on Laser Protection Supervisor role for clinic (if appropriate).

Requirements of the Scrub Nurse role:

- You must be a HPC registered ODP or NMC registered nurse
- You must have 12 months + post registration experience working as an ODP
- You must be Physically able to adapt to the environment including the potential to stand for long periods as well as react in an emergency within a confined area.
- Have a keen interest in working in the field of cosmetics
