Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse to fill a full time, permanent role within this Endoscopy Unit based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Our client is the UK's largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions, working with hospitals and commissioners across the NHS and independent sector.
The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of Endoscopy practices.
The pay rate for this Registered General Endoscopy Nurse job is up to £30'000 per annual and is a permanent role due to start within the next 2 months. You will be required to work full-time hours working across rotas of Monday-Sunday.
As an Endoscopy Nurse, your role will be to carry out pre, peri and post endoscopy care for patients, you will provide a safe care environment including preparing and clearing up rooms and equipment with particular reference to infection control and safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff.
This role will require you to maintain a professional profile and develop skills, knowledge and competencies adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the organisations policies and procedures.

Requirements of the Registered General Endoscopy Nurse role:
* Registered Nurse on 1 or 12 of the NMC Register.
* Ability to move and handle patients and loads
* Flexible attitude to work and work hours to meet service needs.
* 6 months minimum Endoscopy experience, either within the NHS or in a private setting
