Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse to fill a full time, permanent role in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of endoscopy practices.

The salary for this locum Registered General Nurse job is £26,000 - £30,000 per annum and is a permanent role due to start in the next 3 months.

This role requires you to work with the Endoscopy Unit within the Oxford Region covering sites in Witney, Bicester and Abingdon. You will be responsible for maintain a professional profile and develop skills, knowledge and competencies adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the organisations policies and procedures.

As a specialist endoscopy nurse, you will be required to carry out pre, peri and post endoscopy care for patients, and also provide a safe care environment including preparing and clearing up rooms and equipment with particular reference to infection control and safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Requirements of the Registered General Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You will have experience or an interested in working within an endoscopy team
- You must have previous experience working within private healthcare
