Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER to fill a full time role in LIVERPOOL. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of ADULTS COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH Services.
The starting pay rate for this locum Qualified Social Worker job is £23 per hour and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
Requirements of the role
*All applicants must have a relevant qualification in Social Work (e.g. DipSW), be registered with the HCPC and have a minimum of 1 years' post-qualifying experience in a similar statutory team.
*Agency Social Worker is required for an inner city Community Mental Health Team, Windsor CMHT, based at Baird House, Edge Lane, Liverpool. This is whilst permanent recruitment to this post is ongoing. The Social Worker will cover an existing caseload of service users with severe and enduring mental health conditions and will act as a Care Co-ordinator in some cases to these service users under the CPA Framework.
*The SW will also be undertaking statutory SW interventions on behalf of Liverpool Council, undertaking Care Act Assessments, commissioning services where applicable, undertaking Safeguarding investigations, and providing Social Circumstances reports to the Mental Health Review Tribunal for patients detained in hospital.
