Job Description

Maxxima's Social Work team are currently recruiting for Adult Social Workers to fill a job role in Bridlington.

The role will be based within an Adults Team, who are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis. The pay rate for this role is at £22 per hour, and the role will initially be a three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Requirements and details of this QSW vacancy:

To provide an effective range of social work interventions for adults, their families and carers within Directorate procedures and delegated authority. To manage complex case work which will involve working with primary legislation of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Human Rights. To have experience of and have developed knowledge of working with the MCA undertaking mental capacity assessments and working with Best Interest processes. To have a working knowledge of adult processes and procedures including assessment and eligibility under the Care Act. To be registered with HCPC and have a good understanding of the codes of conduct/ethics and standards of proficiency. Is familiar with strength based and outcome focussed approaches. Is able to demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk striking a balance between support and control.
