Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER to fill a full time role in NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of ADULTS HOSPITAL Services.
The starting pay rate for this locum QUALIFIED SOCIAL WORKER job is £25 per hour and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
Requirements of the role
All applicants must have a relevant qualification in Social Work (e.g. DipSW), be registered with the HCPC and have a minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience in a similar statutory team.
North Lincolnshire Adult Services are looking to recruit a Social Worker for the Hospital Social Work Team based within the acute trust. The successful post holder will be a registered Social Worker with experience of multi disciplinary team working, be willing to undertake Best Interest Assessor for DOLs, and some knowledge of Delayed Discharge legislation is also desirable. The Social Worker will provide social work support to vulnerable adults and their carers who are either in patients or in the Urgent Care Centre, liaising with other Case Management Teams and undertaking initial assessments to facilitate timely and safe transfer of care home with person centred support plans. They will provide social work support on a rota basis covering 8am - 8pm 7 days per week.
