Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner/RMN to fill an Out of Hours role working 7 days a week, 5.30pm - 8.30pm, (4-7 days considered) based in York. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health practices.
The starting pay rate for this locum role is £20 per hour for weekdays (Umbrella/ltd Rate - outside of IR35) and is initially for 2 months, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent.
Requirements of the role:
All applicants must have an updated NMC Registration.
This newly opened service, situated a short walk from York Hospital, offers an out of hours service to people who are experiencing mental health distress, in an aim to reduce the time that they wait to see a clinician in A&E.
The role will involve a mixture of telephone triage and an open door walk in support, providing an initial assessment of the person's mental health needs.
Working in a team of three, the service is open 6pm - 8pm; however you will be required to work 5.30pm - 8.30pm, ideally over 7 nights, but the service will accept 2 candidates who can work part time hours.
You must be an NMC registered Nurse with relevant mental health experience.
