Maxxima has an exciting vacancy for a Medical Welfare Officer to join this school based in Forest Gate, East London.
Catering to 1300 students, the school is looking for someone to coordinate all medical matters on site and to act as named lead First Aider.
Your role will be to arrange all eye, dental and medical examinations held in school, whilst organising and maintaining the medical room - ensuring that all necessary stock and equipment is to hand and ordered as required.
You will ensure health records and accident forms for pupils are maintained, and make sure that where appropriate, feedback is given to the relevant staff regarding any Health and Safety issues that are identified.
Furthermore, you will also be the lead First Aider, and will be required to maintain all First Aid boxes throughout the school.
Working term time (38 weeks per year), the annum salary for this position will be between £19,416 - £22,176 and the typical hours are Monday - Friday 8am-4pm.
