Maxxima's NHS client in West London currently recruiting for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to provide maternity leave cover. You will be taking over from the Band 7 paediatric dysphagia lead carrying out 4 days clinical work and 1 day of management/service development.
The caseload involves you working with a wide range of clients ranging from babies (birth-1) as well as older children attending specialist settings. You will be required to work in a variety of settings such as clinics, schools and home visits.
The post is likely to go on for around 6 months, and the rate we have agreed for the role is £30 - £35 per hour depending on experience.
--- Essential Job Requirements ---
-Extensive experience working with dysphagia and weaning
-Knowledge of working with child protection and feeding difficulties
-Varied MDT working skills
-Experience of service development, and supervising less experienced therapists
-Car driver would be ideal but not essential
