We are looking for experienced Emergency Care Assistants to register with us as we have a number of interested clients who are seeking temporary shifts cover.
Do you have a current Blue Light driving qualification? Are you FPOS-I or FREC Lv 3 - 4 trained?

As an Emergency Care Assistant you will attend cases of accident and sudden illness and respond to urgent, special and planned patient transfer requests .You will use advanced driving skills under blue light and normal traffic conditions to respond to emergency and routine calls as required.

You will be required to assist a qualified clinician to support the provision of high quality and effective clinical, personal, social and holistic care to patients.

The nature of this role often means the ECA will be assisting the qualified clinician in dealing with life and death situations. You need to be compassionate, caring and committed.

You need to enjoy helping people whilst understanding their needs and treating them with dignity and respect. You need to be enthusiastic, reliable, self-disciplined and flexible.

Able to work the shift patterns as required, including unsocial hours and weekends?
Able to stay calm in pressurised and emotional situations. Able to handle sensitive situations assertively and tactfully?
Are you able to deal with blood?

Please note:
- Applicants MUST have a valid driving licence including C1 category and with no more than 3 points endorsed.

- Holding a FPOS-I or FREC Level 3/4 is advantageous.
