Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking experienced TEAM MANAGERS to fill a full time role in PETERBOROUGH. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of CHILDREN &/OR ADULTS SERVICES.

The starting pay rate for these locum Social Care positions is £38 and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities

We have a vacancy within the 0-25 Service for a Team Manager. Details of the role are below:
The 0-25 service provides services to children and young people with disabilities from aged 0-25 and is part of Adult social care directorate. The team is led by two team managers, with one leading on Childrens' activity and one on transitions/preparation from adulthood activity.
The team manager will lead on transitions, supporting young people and their families to move from children to adult services.
The candidate will work closely with the other team manager in the service and support senior Managers withe ongoing development
The candidate will have a good understanding of the care act and transition of young people. An understanding of the SEND agenda and Families and children's act.
