Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking experienced CARE MANAGEMENT OFFICERS to fill a full time role in LEICESTER. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of ADULTS Practices.

The starting pay rate for these locum Social Care positions is £13 and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.


A care management officer will be based in the Learning disability and Transitions service and will need to have previous experience of working with people with LD, MH and Physical disabilities. They will need experience in completing assessments, reassessments, carer's assessments and reviews and risk assessments. They must have an understanding of the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. To work proactively with service users, advocates, family, carers and informal carers
To be part of a busy duty and unplanned service. To also undertake planned and unplanned home visits.
To work alongside other professionals as a multidisciplinary with housing, police, education, supported living, voluntary sector, private providers and health professionals.
To look at best interest and focused outcomes with a strength based approach.
