Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking a Band 6 CAMHS Practitoner with crisis experience to fill a full time, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday role based in Dorset. This role will be based within the community.

Candidates must: be HCPC, NMC registered and worked with CRISIS role previously in a community setting. Experience of assessing mental health, assessing and managing risk, writing CRISIS plans and risk management plans. Ability to use electronic patient records (paperless service). Must be a car user and driver. Mon-Fri 37.5 hours, daytime only. Working as part of multi-disciplinary community CAMHs team. Some experience of psychiatric liaison worker. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Understanding of CPA process, legal framework for working with children and young people. Clinical skills appropriate for a Band 6 registered practitioner. Must have safeguarding L3 and enhanced DBS as working with young people and their families

The starting pay rate for this locum role is £23 per hour (Umbrella Rate) on an initial 3 month contract with a possibility of extension - start ASAP.


Requirements of the role:
