Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 8a Infection Control Nurse to fill a full time role in West London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of infection control.

The pay rate for this locum Band 8a Infection Control Nurse job is £37.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is initially a 2 month contract with potential for extension.

This role will require you to act as a highly professional clinical lead providing a strong professional role model in all infection prevention & control, as well as other nursing activities. You will be responsible for making a key contribution to the vision of improved quality and safety and better infection prevention and control; using a range of different skills and drawing on own and others' expert knowledge.

Requirements of the Band 8a Infection Control Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in infection prevention and control
- You must have a Master's degree in IPC or related subject or willing to work towards this.
- You must have a relevant teaching qualification
