Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse to join this service in Rotherham. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of Workplace Health & Wellbeing practices.

The team require a highly motivated and experienced OH specialist nurse with a good understanding of current thinking and best practice in occupational health. You will work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. You will need excellent communication skills, creativity and good problem solving skills. You will need experience of team working and the ability to support, develop and lead the OHWC team

Ideally you will be able to commit to full time hours however the team would consider someone working 3-5 days per week role.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Health Nurse job is £25.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 4-6 month contract.

As part of the of the occupational health team, you will be responsible for providing occupational health guidance for the 5,000-plus staff employed in the trusts hospitals.


Requirements of the Occupational Health Nurse role:

- You must be a registered General Nurse and Degree / Diploma in Occupational Health
- You must have experience in sickness absence management and case management essential
- You must be use to telephone based and face to face case management
- You will ideally have experience working within the public and private sectors
- You must have experience in health surveillance
- NHS / healthcare immunisation requirement experience advantageous
