Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 RMN CHC Nurse Assessor to fill a full time role in Watford, Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of CHC assessment and review.

The post holder will be working with an NHS Integrated Discharge Team. You will with the IDT to complete CHC Checklists and Decision Support Tools, providing mental health expertise to the process in a speedy way. They will also link into the Community Older Adults Service, so that any f/u that is indicated is passed on in a streamlined way. They will also provide advice and guidance to the IDT and champion the need for the Older Adults Service to have provision for this in the longer term.


The pay rate for this locum job is £28.00 per hour per hour (Umbrella) and is an ongoing contract due to start ASAP.

Requirements of the Band 7 RMN CHC Nurse Assessor role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC Pin
- You must have experience with Continuing Healthcare assessment and review
- You will ideally have experience working within an NHS older adults service
