Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Registered General Nurse to fill a full time, 8pm - 8am role in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of general nursing practices.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Registered General Nurse job is £29 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

This role will require you to work within Out of Hours at Bassetlaw Primary Care Centre working closely with Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust Emergency Department streaming Pathway and as part of the primary care team to prevent inappropriate referral to ED and hospital admission avoidance working (days, evenings, nights, weekend and Bank Holidays). You will proactively respond and assess patients who are streamed through ED to primary care who have a sudden deterioration in medical function or social abilities which are likely to result in an inappropriate admission but could be managed in primary care.

Requirements of the Band 7 Registered General Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experience within a similar role
- You must have previous experience working within the community
