Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Nurse Specialist to fill a full time role in South London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Nurse Specialist job is £27.62 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join the community team in South London. You will work alongside other specialist nurses / Lead Nurses to ensure the development and delivery of a high quality service. Your role will include nurse led community clinics, in-patient liaison, telephone advice for patients, their families and the wider healthcare team. You will be required to travel to localities across south London to see patients in clinics or at home in order to undertake assessments and plan care in collaboration with patient and carers

If you are passionate about the care of patients with Parkinson's disease and MS and have a genuine desire to work with this patient group, then you are just the person we are looking for
Requirements of the Band 7 Nurse Specialist role:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experience working with patients suffering from Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis
- You must have previous experience within a similar role
