Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm role in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of mental health within young adults.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Mental Health Nurse job is £26 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

This youth service is an innovative provider of specialist mental health treatment and support for 14-25 years based on local research and evaluation. Due to an unprecedented amount of referrals the service has a wait list of young people awaiting allocation for treatment. You role as Band 7 wait list coordinator will be to work closely with the existing clinical team leads and assist in the reporting and monitoring of the wait list and assessing changes in the presentation of the young people placed on it.

You will participate in the weekly priority allocations meeting identifying the young people most in need of immediate allocation for specialist treatment.

Requirements of the Band 7 Mental Health role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the NMC
- You must have the ability to assess risk and current mental state of those aged 14-25
- You must have the ability to maintain client records and RAF rate clients based on level of risk and need
- You must be computer literate
- You must have previous experience of working with young adults
