Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking a Band 7 Lead Community Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse to fill a full time, ongoing role in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of learning disability practices and working in the community.
The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Community Lead / Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse job is £30.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is initially a 6 month contract due to start ASAP.
You will be working within the community team, 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week.
The team are looking for someone who has previous community experience and who has been working at Band 7 level. You will be responsible for assessing and supporting the health needs of adults (and at times young people) with a learning disability in the Peterborough area acting as a Band 7 Nurse to support the other nurses in the team

Requirements of the Band 7 Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have at least 3 years' experience working with learning disabilities in the community
- You must have previously worked at Band 7 level
- You must be a car driver, with business car insurance as this role involves community assessments
