Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse to fill a full time, Monday - Friday 9am-5pm role in Colchester. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of substance misuse practices within an NHS environment.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse job is £27.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract (subject to extension) due to start ASAP.

Working with a specialist NHS substance misuse team in Colchester, in this role you will provide assessment and care services for patients with a history of substance misuse. You will provide support for service users, relatives and carers, as well as substitute prescribing for addiction.

Requirements of the Band 7 Independent Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have specialist knowledge and experience working as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber within the NHS
- You must have previous experience working within substance misuse
