Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Community Learning Disabilities Nurse to fill a full time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm role in London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of learning disability practices, and experience in independently completing Continuing Health Care Assessments.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Community Learning Disabilities Nurse job is £27 per hour (Umbrella) and is an ongoing contract.

In this role, you will be required to provide specialist healthcare and support to people with a learning disability, as well as their families and staff teams, to help them to achieve a fulfilling life. You will also be responsible for helping people to learn the skills needed to find work. This can be significant in helping them to lead a more independent and healthy life where they can relate to others on equal terms.

Requirements of the Band 7 Community Learning Disabilities Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered General |Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have experience within a similar field
- You must have experience with learning disabilities
- You must have experience in independently completing a Continue Health Care Assessment
- RIO training will be desirable
