Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Clinical Nurse/Specialist Non-Medical Prescriber to fill a part time role for 15 hours per week (Mondays and Tuesdays, 9-5) based within a Drug and Alcohol Partnership based in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Nursing practices.

The starting pay rate for this locum role is £27 per hour (Umbrella Rate) and is initially an 8 week contract, with the possibility of extension.

Requirements of the role:
All applicants must have an updated NMC Registration.

This is a specialist role and the candidate is required to have previous experience with substance misuse and prescribing medication for these addictions.

The candidate must have their own transport and be able to travel.

The post holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of an independent non-medical prescribing service, as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The post holder will also provide effective line management and clinical leadership to the other band 5 clinicians and guide other team members in the delivery of good quality care and recovery plans.
