Job Description

Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner to fill a full time role in Dover, Kent. The ideal candidate will have expert experience working within an NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team.

Based with an NHS CAMHS team, your role will be to enhance the mental and emotional well-being of children and young people within Dover.

Your responsibilities will include:

-To provide CAMHS consultation and assessment
-Liaison
-Training
-Supervision
-To provide mental assessments and evidence based short proactive treatment
-Direct work to young people within the early help pathway.


The pay rate or this locum Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner job is £27.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a full-time contract for 5 months. The client would be looking for a candidate as soon as possible.

Requirements and details of this Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner vacancy:

All applicants be a registered mental health nurse with a current NMC pin or Mental Health Practitioner with HCPC registration
All applicants must have experience within the NHS.
All applicants must have experience working within CAMHS
