Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse to join this Private Learning Disabilities client in Hertfordshire.

Located in rural Much Hadham, Hertfordshire, our client is looking for an experienced Band 6 equivalent RGN to join their school for a permanent contract. This team provides care for those aged 5-19 years.

Your role will include the planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of individual Health Care programmes for young people with learning disabilities and behaviour care plans in their allocated area. You will also act as a preceptor to junior staff, whilst keeping up to date with documentation and maintain confidentiality.

Shifts fall between the hours 07:00-22:00 working 5 days a week, with sleep in duties.

The pay rate for this RGN vacancy is between £31,473-£34,834 per annum (experience dependent) and is to cover maternity leave.

Requirements of the RGN role:

- You must be a registered nurse with the NMC
- You must have skills in assessment and planning care for young people
- You must have knowledge of epilepsy
