Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered General Nurse to fill a full time role in Enfield. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of working with older adults.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Registered General Nurse job is £24 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.
This friendly NHS team offers a high standard of assessment and compassionate care to older adults aged 65 and over.
This role will require you to effectively deliver skilled nursing care to patients using a systemic approach of assessing planning, implementing and evaluating to ensure a high standard of care and promote exceptional standard of care in line with Essence of Care and Care Quality Commission standards and ensure that each patient has a care management plan that is effective and patient centred. You must assist in the admission and discharge processes for patients in line with local procedures and assist in effective patient admission pathways and start early and effective discharge planning. Use clinical skills to agree admissions and manage/report any impact on shifts/ workload and staffing levels.

Requirements of the Band 6 Registered General Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experience within the NHS
- You must have previous experience within acute medicine
- Previous experience with stroke/rehab experience is desirable
