Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse to fill a full time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm role in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of CAMHS nursing practices within an NHS AMHT/A&E/Crisis service

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse job is £23.79 per hour (Umbrella) and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
This NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides outpatient assessments, support and treatment for children and young people up to the age of 18 experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems. The team require cover within their AMHT, Accident and Emergency, and Crisis teams, and are looking for someone flexible who can hit the ground running. Some outreach work will be necessary.

You will be required to provide help to children and to the wider family, including those with living with foster parents, adopted children and young people living in children's homes. You may see children and adolescents on their own, with their parents or with their family, and may also see parents on their own.

Requirements of the Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experince working within the field of CAMHS within the NHS
- You must have previous experince working with AMHT, Accident and Emergency, or Crisis teams
