Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner/RMN to fill a full time role within a Rapid Intervention and Treatment Team based in Lytham, Lancashire. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health practices.
The starting pay rate for this locum role is £23 per hour (Umbrella Rate) and is 3 months with the possibilty of extension to start ASAP.
*RITT is an Older Adults community mental health team which provides support for patients with acute mental health difficulties, which might be caused by either functional illnesses, cognitive difficulties or a combination of both.
*Their presentation is often complex and high risks to their safety and well-being are frequently identified.
*Applicants must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the potential needs of this patient group and identify how OT assessments and interventions can be effectively utilised.
*Applicants should have either Older Adults or Adult mental health experience, have an up to date knowledge of CPA, MHA, MCA, Safeguarding and previous community experience would be desirable.
Requirements of the role:
