Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a role in Ipswich, this is a part time or full time role of working 3 - 5 days per week. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of children services.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 6 month contract due to start as soon as possible.
In this role, you will be working alongside Wellbeing Suffolk who help and support to improve wellbeing and manage stress, low mood and anxiety within children aged 5-18 years. The team aim to reduce the onset of mental ill health, prevent deterioration and promote recovery by offering a range of flexible services tailored to meet their clients specific needs.
You will be required to provide services within a community settings throughout the region, this includes a wide range of workshops and courses, talking therapies, including counselling and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Requirements of the Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner role:
- You must be either a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin or a Qualified Social Worker with active HCPC registration.
- You must have experience working with children
- You must have experience based in a community role
- You must have a license and access to your own vehicle
