Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full time role in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health.
The team are happy to accept applications from Qualified Social Workers and Mental Health Nurses, you will be working within the IDT team for Norfolk and Suffolk NHS and the team are hopeful for someone to start in the next few weeks.
The IDT are responsible for the coordinated delivery of community mental health services in their designated locality. This includes support for children and their families, adolescents, working age and older adults, and individuals with a learning disability. The team provide clinical interventions to address complex mental health needs, as well as certain specialist difficulties such as ADHD and autism.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner job is £22.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
Requirements of the Band 6 CPN role:
- You must be a registered RMN with the NMC
- You must have previous experience of working within the community
- You must have skills in assessments and risk assessments
- You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
