Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health practitioner to fill a full time role within the ECP and Adult ADHD Pathway team, who are based in Bury St. Edmunds, West Suffolk. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health practices.

The team are responsible for the coordinated delivery of community mental health services within west Suffolk. This includes support for children and their families, adolescents, working age and older adults, and individuals with a learning disability.

You role will be to provide clinical interventions to address complex mental health needs, in particular specialist difficulties such as ADHD and autism. This role is working within the NHS and you will form part of a multi-disciplinary community team.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health practitioner job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP. This contract is likely to be extended.

Requirements of the Band 6 Mental Health practitioner role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin
- Ideally you will have worked in an Access and Assessment team or Home Treatment team, you will need to have excellent assessment skills.
- Experience of Enhanced community pathway and/or Adult pathways and the treatment involved within these.
