Maxxima's Nursing team are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to fill a job role in Wokingham. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of older people with Mental Health.
This role is for a Mental Health Practitioner role. This can be either a Registered Mental Health Nurse, an OT or a Social Worker. You must demonstrate a good level of knowledge of this patient group, the most common treatment interventions available and the specific role of the Mental Health Practitioner in the CMHT. You will manage a caseload of older people with Mental health needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Working with the Multi-Disciplinary Team
-Managing a caseload of older people
-Making important decisions about a patient's care
The pay rate or this locum Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a Full-time contract.

*You must be registered with the NMC
*You must have experience with working with older people
*Previous experience of working within Mental Health is desirable, but not essential
*You must be able to work independently and as part of a team
*You must have skills in managing caseloads
