Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full time 9.00am-5.00pm role in Walthamstow. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health recovery practices within the NHS.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health Nurse job is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 2 month contract with potential for extension, due to start ASAP.

This NHS team provides specialist mental health services for adults aged 18 to 65 with serious and/or enduring mental health problems. This includes multidisciplinary assessments to identify needs with each client/carer, community interventions and a range of community-based services formulated in a care plan and delivered through the CPA process. The team works with clients, carers and other agencies to promote recovery. You will be responsible for providing recovery focused intervention service users within the community.

Requirements of the Band 6 Mental Health Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC PIN
- You must have previous experience of working in mental health setting with service users presenting with complex issues
- You must have a licence and access to your own car
- You will ideally have NHS experience
