Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Nurse to fill a full time role in Hemel Hempstead. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of prison nursing.

This Category C adult men's prison based in Bovingdon (near Hemel Hempstead) is looking for Registered Mental Health Nurses for a full time (Monday - Friday, 07:45-16:30), ongoing contract.

Your role as part of the healthcare team will involve clinical triage to the evaluation of patient care and standards. You will review patient histories, undertake any relevant examinations and tests, and also organise any necessary treatment.

The starting pay rate for this locum Band 6 Mental Health Nurse job is £24.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is an ongoing contract.

Requirements of the Band 6 Mental Health Nurse role:

- You must be a registered RMN with the NMC
- You must have previous prison experience
- You must be prison cleared
