Job Description

Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to fill a full time role based in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health practices.

The starting pay rate for this locum role is £22 per hour (Umbrella Rate) and is initially a 3 month contract.

Requirements of the role:
All applicants must have an updated NMC Registration.

*Candidates need to be competent in full needs assessment and completing the relevant paperwork, as this will be predominantly an assessment role.
*The role is mostly community based therefore the candidate must have their own transport.
*We are a team dedicated to the provision of individualised care to our service users with the aims of enabling you to reduce your distressing symptoms, focusing on your personal goals, enhancing social inclusion and enabling a more independent life.
*We use a team approach and you may be seen by a variety of professionals during your treatment with the Team.
*The team consists of a wide range of professionals including psychiatric nurses, approved mental health professionals, social workers, community support workers, occupational therapists, cognitive behavioural therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists and assessment officers.
*We use a range of evidence based interventions in both groups and individual appointments to support your recovery, from our specialised areas of expertise in the treatment of severe depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, personality disorders and other difficulties that may have been caused by past life experiences.
