Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full time role in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of Eating Disorders practices.
The pay rate for this locum CPN job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.
As part of this NHS Eating Disorders team, your role will be to provide specialist care to those referred to the service. Referrals may come from an self-refer online portal, a GP or other professional.
Upon receiving referrals, you will be required to make an appointment to complete a full assessment to later agree on an initial treatment plans. This is a friendly NHS team who will support you throughout your placement.

Requirements of the Band 6 CPN role:
- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with the NMC
- You must have strong experience within Eating Disorders
- You must have previous NHS experience (this can be through university placements)
- You must have experience in providing assessments and creating treatment plans
