Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full time role in Stowmarket. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health within adults.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

This NHS IDT team is a multi-disciplinary community mental health team based in Stowmarket. This experienced and supportive team is looking for a Band 6 CPN to join them - each member of staff is rotated to cover a busy system that reviews, monitors and assesses those referred into the team.

The team meets together 4 mornings a week to discuss referrals, allocation and reflective practice. You will be required to have an understanding of and experience of working with the care programme approach, in addition to knowledge and experience of safeguarding and risk management.

Requirements of the Band 6 CPN role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experience working with the community
- You must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- You must be able to cover duty
- You must be willing to attend ward rounds and a range of professional meetings
- You must be a car driver with access to your own vehicle
