Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a full time, 9am - 5pm role in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of mental health practices.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is initially 3 month contract with potential for extension.

This role will require you will be working adults over 25 with moderate to severe mental health needs who require support in the community. Your role will be to deliver services in a number of ways including groups, one-to-one discussions with patients, or in a more formal way that could include meeting with all the people involved in their care including doctors, nurses, social or support workers within the community. You will be responsible for having discussions about mental wellbeing which may include medication, therapies and social aspects of the patients life.

You will hold a case load and be responsible for Care coordinating, Completing assessments and all the documentation required, Giving depots and Working as part of the MDT.

Requirements of the Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have experience with adults
- You must have experience working within the community
- You must have experience in a similar field
