Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Paediatric Nurse to fill a full time, 7 days per week, 8am - 8pm and 8pm - 8am shift based role in Hertfordshire. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of paediatric practices.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Community Paediatric Nurse job is £23.00 per hour (Umbrella) days and £28.00 per hour nights and weekends and is an ongoing contract due to start ASAP.
This role will require you to work within the Peace Children's Centre who are a Specialist Child and Family Clinics offer specialist help for children, teenagers and their families who are seeking to deal with feelings, thoughts and behaviour problems within the community. You will be responsible for assessing a specific and allocated patient's needs and providing initial patient care and help families deal with a child's illness or injury and often offer information on nutrition, diet and good health habits.
Requirements of the Band 6 Community Paediatric Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experience working with children
- You must have previous experience working within the community
- You must have previous experience working within the NHS
