Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Community Neurological Rehabilitation Nurse to fill a part time role in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of neurological rehabilitation practices.
The pay rate for this Band 6 Community Neurological Rehabilitation Nurse job is £26,565 - £35,577 pro rata (Umbrella) and is a permanent contract due to start ASAP.
This role will require you to support individuals living with an acquired brain injury or neurological condition. You will be tasked with developing strong cohesive cross collaborative working relationships with medical staff, nurses, ward managers and those involved in the direct support of clients and their family members in order to further the aims of the service. You will assist with planning for a return home from hospital and facilitating appropriate ongoing support. You will provide care in the community and contribute to the training of staff in skills such as medication, suction and peg feeding as necessary.

Requirements of the Band 6 Community Neurological Rehabilitation Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have experience working with neurological rehabilitation
- You must have experience working in the community
- You must have experience training staff
