Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse to fill a full time role in Sutton Coldfield. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of clinical cancer treatment.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse job is £26.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.
This role will require you to provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in an Oncology Day Chemotherapy Centre. You will assess patients' health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload of cancer patients. You will also assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs throughout the cancer treatment pathway.

Requirements of the Band 6 Chemotherapy Nurse role:
- You must be a Registered General Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must be qualified in venepuncture and cannulation and the use of CVAD's with evidence of regular competency assessment
- You must be qualified in the Safe handling and administration of SACT (accredited course) with evidence of regular competency assessment
