Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Nurse to fill a full time role in Chertsey. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of crisis within CAMHS.

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 CAMHS Nurse job is £23 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

This role will require you to provide specialist crisis interventions and home treatment for referred children and young people as part of our commissioned approach to meeting the mental health needs of children and young people who use our services. You will be responsible to contribute to the management of a team caseload of young people with complex needs, using CPA principles, evidence/centred based principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions, which will be delivered mainly in the home or community setting.

Requirements of the Band 6 CAMHS Nurse role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- You must have experience working with children
- You must have previous experience working within the community
