Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner to fill a full time, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm role in Gillingham. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of CAMHS and Single Point of Access practices within the NHS.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner job is £24 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 2 month (subject to extension) contract due to start ASAP.
This role will require you to join a CAMHS Single Point of Access Team where you must complete initial and priority assessments for children and young people in the Medway area, and undertake duty and SPA task and responsibilities as requested. The purpose is to ensure that all initial and urgent referrals are completed within timescales and to provide additional resource given the number of follow up and priority assessments received by the locality hub.
Requirements of the Band 6 CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner role:
- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have previous experience within the field of CAMHS
- You must have previous experience working within assessment
- Having experience within the NHS is ideal
