Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 6 ADHD Nurse Practitioner to fill a full time, 37.5 hours per week role in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of working with Children with ADHD or within a CAMHS service .

The pay rate for this locum Band 6 ADHD Nurse Practitioner job is £22.45 per hour (Umbrella) and is initially a 3 month contract with potential for extension.

In this role, you will be required to work as a integral member of the Children and Young Peoples Mental Health (CAMHS) multi-disciplinary team, actively promoting effective team working and continuous service improvement. You will be required to provide assessment, provision and evaluation of interventions and care of children and young people with mental health problems, and their families and carers, in all settings relevant to service delivery.

Requirements of the Band 6 ADHD Nurse Practitioner role:

- You must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must have experience of assessment and treatment of children and young people across a range of care settings
- You must have experience of working in multi-agency teams and with a wide variety of client groups
- You must have experience of working with children and young people with ADHD or have an interest in this type of work.
