Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Mental Health Nurses for a role in Norwich. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of learning disability and forensic service practices.

The pay rate for this locum Band 5 RMN job is £17.00 days, £22.00 Saturdays and nights and £26.00 Sundays per hour (Umbrella) and is an ongoing contract due to start ASAP.

You will be working on a rota, either full time or picking up ad hoc shifts (days and/or nights) to suit you. The team are happy to accept applications from full time candidates any also those looking for part time or additional hours to fit around their current employment.

Your role will be to provide specialist intervention to offenders with mild, borderline learning disabilities who may also suffer from mental health problems or personality disorder. The Clinic is a 24 bedded service which offers assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to persons with mild/borderline learning disabilities and forensic histories.

Requirements of the Band 5 RMN role:

- You must be an RMN with an active NMC Pin
- You must have experience with mental health and learning disabilities
- You must have either Breakaway/MAPA/Restraint or similar training
