Maxxima has a fantastic opportunity for a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to fill a full-time role at one of our Master Vendor trusts, The University Hopsitals of Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

The role is available to start ASAP for an ongoing period of time. The starting pay rate for this locum Band 5 Pharmacy Technician job is £17.00 - £19.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The duties of this role will include dispensing prescriptions, ward based work, taking drug histories, speaking to patients, counselling on medication and checking prescriptions. General ward and dispensary duties.

Requirements of the Band 5 Pharmacy Technician role include:

* All candidates must be GPHC registered
* Experience working in NHS pharmacy department
* ACT Qualified
