Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to fill a full time role based within the Social Inclusion Team in Doncaster. The ideal candidate will have a significant understanding of Mental Health practices.
The starting pay rate for this locum role is £18 per hour (Umbrella Rate) and is initially a 3 month contract, with the possibility of extension.
All applicants must be a driver with access to their own car, as this is a community based role.
The Social Inclusion Team is a specialist community mental health team which works across Doncaster, providing treatment and support for individuals who have experienced a psychotic illness, or mood disorder and require low level support to achieve their recovery goals and maintain wellbeing in the community.
The team offers a multi-disciplinary approach with professionals from a number of different disciplines: Mental health nurses; social workers; occupational therapists; support time and recovery workers; assessment officers; a cognitive behavioural therapist and consultant psychiatrist.
Personalised care plans are developed with the individual and their family / carers which aim to maximise their recovery, build resilience to manage their mental health difficulties, promote independence and social inclusion.
Care plans may include a range of interventions which can be delivered on either an individual or group basis, for example: Help to manage mental health symptoms; including medication management; relapse prevention; development of coping strategies and Wellness Recovery Action Plans; cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), building confidence and self-esteem, help with daily living skills, housing, finances and benefits, support to reach vocational and social inclusion goals, physical health and wellbeing promotion, carers assessments and support.
