Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 4 Dental Nurse to join this NHS Trust on a full time basis across East London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of General Dental and Oral Healthcare.

The starting pay rate for this locum Band 4 Dental Nurse job is £12.00 per hour (Umbrella) and is a 4 month contract due to start ASAP. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.

As an Dental Nurse, you will be working alongside the Dentists and will be responsible for the provision of excellent General Dental Nursing Skills. You will work with patients to ensure that they are comfortable before and during each procedure. You will also be responsible for preparing the room and equipment for surgery each day and disinfecting all surfaces, sterilizing the equipment and storing tools in a clean, safe compartment.

You will support the clinician in the delivery of Dental and Oral Health Care in the clinic setting, domiciliary and outreach as required. You will maintain the efficient running of the Dental Service environment, maintaining clinical professional development and registration.

You will be required to be based out of a few clinics in East London, areas include Shoreditch, Canning Town, Canary Wharf and Stratford.

Requirements of the Band 4 Dental Nurses role:

- You must have a NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing or equivalent
- You must be registered with the GDC
- You must have previous experience within this field
- You must have experience working with children and adults
