Job Description

Maxxima Nursing Team is currently seeking an experienced Band 3 Rehab Support Worker to fill a full time role in Streatham, South London. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of community rehabilitation support practices within the NHS.

The pay rate for this locum Band 3 Rehab Support Worker job is £12 per hour for days, and £14 for weekends (Umbrella) and is an ongoing contract due to start asap. The shift times for this role are: 08.00 - 15.30 and 13.30 -21:00, and is a rota based role where you must be available on some weekends.

You will be required to provide a rehabilitation support service to adults aged 18 and over in the community. You will provide care for patients recovering from a neurological condition. In this role, you will promote independence and, where possible, enable older people and adults to continue to live in their own homes. You will also help to facilitate timely discharge from hospital, in-patient intermediate care unit, or other step-down facility.

Requirements of the Band 3 Rehab Support Worker role:

- You must have experience as a Healthcare Assistant/ Support Worker within the NHS
- You must have a relevant Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- You must have experience in care programs including personal care, mobility, toileting, meal prep, and exercises
- You must have experience within neurological rehabilitation
- You must have experience working in the community
- Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential
